Nah, warp debuff you with a chance to buff you at very low chance, you should add opposite affect like Warp, it will buff your hero
but isn't that a trap that gives you almost no reward?

A debuff that disallows attacking or using thrown items (not wands)
"Isn't that just -100% accuracy?" Maybe, but accuracy modifiers are completely ignored and you cannot even attempt to attack during this debuff. That capability is completely removed when you are disarmed
You get to do a good act, that's the reward

New floor status effects:
Every chapter now gives a global status effect to go along with thwir theme and spice things up
Sewers: Beginner's Luck. You feel confident! 10% chance to negate all of a hit's dmg against you, and your satiety drops 15% more slowly. Higher chance to roll avg on wep and armor rolls
Prisons: Warden's Watch. The prison's chief has his unerring eye on you, unnerving you to the core. Every 25 turns or so, random enemies on the floor will become alerted to your presence for 2 turns (20% of enemies currently alive). Enemy armor becomes twice as effectice against your damage, and wands have a 10% chance to miscast.
Caves: Nature's Onslaught. The earth itself seems to be against you. Enemies that step on grass get a 25% dmg boost for 10 turns, while grass itself spawns on random tiles at a rate of 1 every 15 turns. Every 3 grass spawned will also spawn a random harmful plant on thr floor: enemies that step on them get the associated warden's effect. If the hero steps on grass, they move 20% slower for 8 turns.
Metro: Necromantic Aura. It's hard to keep going when the place itself wants you dead... Enemies have a 20% chance to respawn when killed (max of once per enemy). The hero gains the doomed debuff for 5 turns after killing anything. Healing sources become 33% less effective.
Halls: Madness Incarnate. Every second spent here loosens your grip on reality more and more. This debuff has stacks that build up with turns spent. 1 every 50 turns or so. They reset after going down a floor, but u vant go up and then down again to keep resetting.
1 stacks: You start hallucinating various items. When these fakes try tk be picked up, theyll fade into nothingness and deal 2 times ur stacks in dmg
2 stack: You begin hallucimating enemies. These fakes act like normal enemies and can be damaged, but they cant dmg u. When they try to dmg u, they dmg ur mind instead and disappear (7% times stacks chance to forget an ID-ed consumablr.)
3 stacks: You begin seeing copies of yourself, whivh attack and damage you with your own gear. Their dmg is cappef at 10% of ur max hp, they have 0 armor and DR

6 stacks: The walls seem to....... move.................... (Each turn, you have a 33% chance to move in a random direction, as well as your movement speed being reduced by 33%)
7 stacks: You've lost it. Run... Run... RUN..... RUNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-You are teleported to a random floor of Demon Halls in a random spot. If the room is locked when this effect is triggered, you instantly die from losing your mind
-You are unable to do any actions other than run and melee attack
-You are afflicted with permanent blindness

-All enemies are constantly alerted to your position
-Accuracy and evasion are reduced by 50%
make it only tp u to another spot in the same floor, and being inside a locked room doesnt insta kill u (it just unlocks the room for u) and hell yeah

Shop keeper selling made in China items instead of the original. These items are much cheaper, but are less efficient. There are exceptions (hourglass sands, artifacts, stone thing, small rations, revival thing, darts, and bags) as they are unique and unobtainable elsewhere. For armours and weapons, they basically have the Fragile curse, but… it can still be cursed by fragile thereby making it possible to be significantly weaker. A good example of the comparison of the downgrade and the original is the normal rations to the small rations.

How about a champion that has every other champion effect combined
It would make for a very fun and creative encounter
New champion: @÷31a! (Glitched)
These champions have a 25% chance to "glitch" either the hero or their inventory when hitting them. +2 attack range, and if one shot from full hp, will survive with 1 hp.
If the herois glitched, any of these effects can occur:
Their level is randomized with a range of [X-8, X+2], with x being the actual lvl (this can remove talent points invested
Their talents are glitched, rerolling the points invested in all tiers
A talent is glitched, metamorphing it (u dont get to choose between 3)
Their hp is glitched, rerolling it by a range of [-50%, +10%] of its max amount
Their acc and eva are glitched, rerolling them within a range of [1, current]
Worth noting: all these glitched effects are based off of ur actual stat. If u roll and get a -50% to ur max hp, (100 hp ---> 50 hp), then hit the effect again and get a -25% instead, ur hp will go back up to 75.
When ur inventory is glitched:
2-6 consumables are recycled
1-4 unequipped items are transmogrified
1-5 equipped items are rerolled
A random bag is removed for a floor
Your gold is rerolled within a range of [-75%, +20%] of its actual amount.
Your alchemical energy is rerolled within a range of [-50%, +10%] of its actual amount
Ypur gold and alch energy amounts are switched
Your upgrade levels are rerolled (adds up the upg lvls of all ur ID-ed items both equipped and unequipped then distributes them randomly)
Your entire inventory is transmuted

New Challenge: Rival
Add another mob that acts as speedrunner hero.
It doesn't attack you, instead stealing the strength potion or scroll of upgrade whenever stumbled on it.
You can kill them ofcourse, to recover their loots, but they would always respawn.
Based on your action on these rival, they may or may not side with yog in final battle
New Challenge: Nemesis
Add another mob that acts as malicious speedrunner hero.
It sometimes attack you whenever you below 50% health. And it loots everything they see, often discarding items of low quality when their bag is full.
They also could buy bag from merchant, unlike normal rival. This hinder you to buy bag, so try to reach shop fast.
Good luck on killing them, they always uses their upgrade scroll or strength potion, unlike normal rival that saves these up for later. They didn't respawn though.
They always sides with yog whenever survives the whole run.
New challenge: Karmic Cycle
What goes around, comes around.
You permanently have the Karma status effect on you, which has a counter starting at 0. Doing "good/pacifistic" actions (taking dmg from enemies without striking back, buying from the shop, completing an npc quest, leaving a floor with enemies still asleep, healing allies and enemies, etc) increases the counter, while "evil/violent" actions (attacking enemies, burning grass and doors, stealing from.shop, scaring away the shopkeep, leaving a chapter without completing an npc's quest, opening graves and bone piles, etc) lowers the counter.
When below 0: the hero takes extra % dmg from all sources, debuff durations are extended, buff durations are lowered, wraiths begin randomly spawning, and evil actions lower the counter more. The severity of these effects scales with how far the counter is in the negativez (ex. Wraiths spawn faster based on how low ur counter is)
When above 0: incoming dmg is lowered by a % from all sources (softcaps quickly tho at like, say, 25%), debuffs last less, buffs last longer, and good actions increase the counter more. These effects' severities scale with how much the counter is above 0
New? Challenge: Plants wonderland
Every inch of dungeon that doesn't occupied by water or traps or something special, would be shrouded by thick grass.
Dew chance to appear reduced greatly, but would gives double amount in single dewdrop.
As per rule, the grass could be ignited. Be sure to stand on water to avoid the fires.
Mobs would have something changed in their behavior, like could hear rustling in grasses, moving around the grasses without destroying them.
Stepping off water leave wet footprints. Mobs could follow them to locate you.
Stepping of charred tile (burned grass) leaves ashen footprints, effect the same as wet footprints but faster to vanish.

New alchemical recipe, u can sacrifice items or gold or hp to it in exchange for giving you better rng drops for next floor (its magnitude is dependent on how many things you sacrificed to it, nd their quality.)

the amount of loot in a room stays the same, and some roomsare ignored

Generally doesn't like fighting, they would run if the hero see them. But if being chased, would screech like alarm trap.

New enemy: gnoll cannibal
Normal movement speed and what not, stats on par with brutes, when getting hit by it, theres a chance u start bleeding and get crippled. This mob can kill other mobs in its way to get to u: for each mob killed and "eaten", it regains hp and gets a boost to its dmg and max hp
Mob variant: Captain guard.
This guard wear a shield, unlike ordinary guard. Instead of pulling hero, they would jump, pushing hero several tiles back alongside stunning them for 1 turn.
Always spawn awake, wandering the level, forcing any sleeping prison guard awake to follow it.
give skeletons more armor
Mob variant: Spectral bat.
These bats likes to eat magic charge, or magic in general.
Instead of sucking hero hp like their cousin, they would steal any charge of hero wands or alchemical energy.
Could probably also eat any enchantment in hero equipments.

When stepped, a number of piranhas would be freed from hidden drain close to the trap.

Spawn exclusively in maze room, now maze room had two doors connected to it.
When hero enters, lock the door where they entered, spawn a Maze guardian (maybe new mini boss?) inside the maze.

Similar to demon spawner, instead they spawn normal rats.
Destroying all of them in every sewer floor incite the wrath of ratking. Forcing hero to fight goo alongside enraged rat monarch.

Similar to demon spawner, instead they spawn normal skeletons.
Destroying all of them in every prison floor incite the wrath of Undead king. Forcing hero to fight hidden boss alongside Tengu.
New mobs : Gnoll Fortress
Similar but different than demon spawner, player couldn't destroy it by simple hitting or shotting. Spawn every variants of gnolls.
Destroying all of them in every caves floor incite the wrath of Gnoll elites. Forcing hero to fight hidden mini bosses alongside DM300

Spawn the best version of golem, but a lot slower than the rest of spawners variant.
Destroying all of them in every metropolist avoid the hero from having difficult battle, from fighting Dwarf king alongside army of golems.
New mobs : Infernal rats nest
Similar to rat nest, but spawn new variant of rats that could shoot fireblast.
Destroying it in 21 floor prevent rats from appearing in yog fight.
New mobs : Demonic Skelegion
Similar to Skelegion, but spawn ranged variant of skeleton that could use crossbows, tipped with various different seeds. Mainly flame though.
Destroying it in 22 floor prevent skeletons from appearing in yog fight.

Every 3 hits of corrosion will degrade all equipment by 1 level

Blazing burns your hands so much you can only output attack damage at 50% power
The last normal floor would be for ripper demon spawner only, though it could spawn flying ripper demon variants.
Yes, they don't have to leap to kill you. They swooped and incapacitated you from fighting back until dropped.
Idea: brute spawner
The spawner gets enraged upon 0 hp, starts spawning brutes every turn
Nerf potions
You got used to effects of potions. Every succeeding potion drunk only gives 95% effectiveness compared to previous potion.
E.g healing potion gives less %healing if it's your 10th pot of the run vs your 1st healing pot. Turn based pots will give less turns.
Nerf plants
The plants are one with you. Every plant you step on has 10% chance to curse your armor with overgrowth, removing any existing enchant

Use weapons with higher strength has a chance to inflict bleeding as the weapon is too heavy to use 
swinging a weapon 75 times makes ur arm muscles tired, reducing ur strength to 10
Nerf wands
The mystical energies course through you, slowly turning you into something... different.
Each wand cast has 10% chance to give you an "elemental" counter.
Each counter gives you 1% additional magic damage to enemies (and also to yourself) as well as +0.5% evasion.
At 10 counters your fingers turn into an elemental and you are unable to equip rings
At 15 counters your arms turn elemental and you cannot use weapons
At 20 counters your body is elemental and you cannot use armor.
u can only reverse this debuff by resting for a total of 10 turns
aka press the wait button to make the debuff duration go down by 1
this is literally just a buff to wands save for the no rings part

But it opens up challenge ideas in the future where beat yog as a full elemental is in play. No weapons, armor, or rings. Artifact is ok.

To fulfil the challenge, you must never be seen by any common mobs outside boss arena.

Everytime you kill a mob, a wraith will spawn and they always follow where you go
A DM will not spawn a wraith.
Boss have low chance to become wraith (Goo, Tengu, DK) with stronger power than normal wraith and have it's own unique attack
When a Mob that is not boss die in boss level, they will not become wraith but will spawn on next floor or will heal the boss if the boss still alive
Is that wraith friendly or enemy?
I'm guessing enemy since they will heal boss if boss still alive

Upgrading: Feed it healing items to repair the mirror. Healing potions are worth the most obviously. Takes quite a hefty amount of healing items to level it up though

One might be tempted to level it up fast early game, but then you risk it cracking late game if you need to heal.. so better to pace its level up and only dump level 7 if near yog or smth

Alternative of prison after sewers, this depth uses similar tileset as prison, but with more molds and blue hue, indicating the levels is underwater.
The hero could buy a diving gear from merman merchant on floor 6, and supplies of oxygen bubbles. These new items could also be harvested from air pocket found around the levels.
Water tiles removed, vision significantly reduced compared to normal prison lighting. Grasses changed into corals, which couldn't be destroyed but could be used to hide.
Mobs would mostly aquatics. Piranhas would be common here, but with reduced health points. Drowneds, Electric eels, Water elementals, Snapper turtles.
Npc quest would be only found on the last normal floor in this level, the npc : Distressed hero. Uses almost same rogue sprite except using blue rogue garb.
The distressed hero ask you to help him escape the level, either by going back to 5 floors or by helping him fighting the Hydra (this levels boss).
If you succeed the npc would gave you one of his artifact: cloak of depth, or horn of flooding. This quest also unlock subclass exclusive for rogue : Depth strider. An elusive stalker of depth.
Enchained Hydra boss fight requires you to slain 3 hydra heads in short succession. Fail to do this, the head would healed to full hp.
Use a blazing weapon successfully prevent healing to full. Because dcss hydra reference

You gain a weapon experience, if you kill more and more enemy with that weapon, you will level up weapon mastery, making you can attack faster/ more accurate attack

You can craft explosive shurikens if you craft shuriken + scroll of retribution + stone of blast.
Deals usual thrown weapon X3 damage to enemies in a 3x3 area and 1x damage to enemies in a 5x5 area. Also knocks back enemies closest to the blast much like a wand of blastwave

With several upgrades it starts dealing massive amounts of damage (and also takes zero turns to use) and doesn't break. Also can situationally stun enemies.

New terrible idea: cursed sword from dead cells
While holding this, you always get mind vision passively.
All types of damaging traps are visible.
When you try to attack, you backstep by 1 tile so you avoid enemy's melee attack turn basically.
Once you hit an enemy, that enemy is instantly killed.
When you take any damage,(even with hunger damage!) You instantly die.
Ankh, 100% dmg reduction(from talent) are ignored. Even 0 damage will kill you.
On boss floors, these effects are all disabled and works as a normal melee weapon.(also temporarily disables instakill)
Mistyping fix: backstab->backstep
Imbue mage staff with the returning spell and teleport scroll will make Lloyd beacon

You can now imbue your staff with Scroll
Recharging imbue staff will make your staff charge faster
Retribution imbue staff will do a lot of damage to 10x10 area, the staff charge will reduced by 2, also you will blind and your wand damage will reduced by 33%
Teleport imbue staff will teleport your enemy when you zap with your staff, when enemy killed when you zap and drop item the item will in your backpack
Terror imbue staff will frightened your enemy when you zap with it for 2 turns
Remove curse imbue staff will damage a demonic or undead enemy when you zap with it

Different types of boots throughout the dungeon can now be found which gives different bonuses relating to movement;
The simplest one being a flat speed increase,
Others including "rushing" - attacking after moving in a line dealing extra damage,
"Side stepping" - which gives a chance to evade attacks and automatically moving one time to the sides etc etc
The flat bspeed increase seems like the strongest by a good margin
Also its not good to make extra movement sources even more common and givr them their dedivated slot
But then again this is terrible ideas so
you can randomly find miniboss rooms in the dungeon, marked by a differentkinda door
entering the room (it cant be entered/exited using TPs) will lock the door and fore you to either fight a champion mob/rare enemy in a preset arena
killing the opponent will give you a guaranteed mob drop from that enemy, and will also spawn 2-4 normal chests in that room
corrupting/charming it will open up the room but not give the chests
you gain a badge if you defeat the enemy with duelist

Each hp pot u consume in a run lowers the effectiveness of the next hp pot u drink by 33%
Completing a chapter reduces this effect by the equivalent of one hp pkt
it gets less effective for every turn without drinking a potion
Gladiator combo move is depends on weapon
Drinking 4 makes u officially addicted: new status effect that counts down from 100 turns. If u dont drink another hp pot before it reaches 0, u take 25% of ur max hp in dmg
