Wanted to take part to the contest with my favourite piece of WW1 gear, a Fucile Mod.91 with Benaglia rifle grenade.

The Fucile was made by MIDA (private factory in Brescia) in 1917, with a Tubata barrel (re-sleeved in the arsenal with the Salerno method) and a single digit serial number.

Got it from an old collector that got it basically from mistake in an old purchase. Gifted it to me along other relics since he knew about my passion and he has other interests.

The Benaglia was allegedly dug up from a pound in Slovenija, as most of these are, since the water or muddy ground helps in not detonating the grenade on impact.

Got it from a metal-detecting slovenian friend, in exchange for a pair of mountain goggles I dug up myself in Carnia.

Either way, they're honest to God dissoluted with the world and make me wonder why I listen to them sometimes
