Hello there!
The mod team has seen y'all talk about the lack of events taking place here and we FINALLY decided to set things going 😎 (only took us 19328 years)

Anyways,
First off the bat, we are doing a simple Server banner, art event cuz this place is FILLED with talented artists (including me).
The rules are as follows:
-The final art piece must be related to Fitz. (you all have the liberty to choose your own theme)
-Required dimensions for the art piece is- 960x540, basically- 16:9 ratio.
-Files must be in JPG format.
-To avoid cases of art being stolen, please submit your "work in progress" pictures along with final piece.
-DM all the required photos, i.e - proof and final submission to @prisma acorn by Friday [3rd April] 11:59pm IST (indian standard time)
-Submissions will be closed once Friday is over for me. The server will vote for their favorite art piece over the weekend. Top 5 winners will be announced on 6th April.

•User with the maximum amount of upvotes on their art-piece will get 1 month of Classic Nitro thanks to the courtesy of @vocal slate.
•Art pieces of the top 5 contestants will be used as server banners over the span of the next few months.
•A separate voting channel shall be created once entries are closed, for the server members to vote in.

EXTRA rules
-Do not be a poo head and make some NSFW / sexual stuff please. Doing this can get you in trouble big time

HOTEL FITZ PET EVENT
Howdy ya'll! 🤠 We're gonna be hosting another event here in Hotel Fitz featuring all your amazing pets!!! 🐱 🐶 🦓

Prizes
This is going to give all participants a chance at winning prizes which is going to include:
• Temporary cosmetic role to the winner that you can use to flex on other users with.
• Win Discord Nitro for top submissions or any other potential prizes that people decide to be generous enough to donate for the event.

Theme: Pets Doing Human Things
For this event we wanted to amp up the stakes. Everyone has cute pictures of their pets, so we are requiring people to add a theme for their pet. The theme will be "Pets Doing Human Things." So all you need to do is create a scenario where your pet is doing something out of the ordinary, like cooking a meal in kitchen. You're free to use some props as well. We're leaving this theme pretty broad so you guys can get creative with it.

How to enter
All you need to do to enter is submit the picture of your pet that you have. Submissions will be entered through modmail. All you need to do is message @languid pendant with your pet photo that you've chosen for the event and let us know you want to enter the contest. Along with submitting your pet photo for the contest, you'll need to submit another photo of your pet with your full Discord tag (ex: anime#2996) somewhere in the photo, whether it be on a piece of paper or on a whiteboard. This is to prove that all photos submitted to the event are legitimate. Your verification photo will not be posted for the event and is just to prove legitimacy.

Submissions are limited to one entry per user. If you submit multiple photos, you'll be asked to choose one.

How does the winner get decided?
After we've gotten our submissions, we'll be making another announcement and we will be posting all the submissions in a channel for voting (we plan on posting all submissions, but depending on how many we get, we might have to pick the best ones for voting if there's too many submissions). All users need to do is react to the ones they think are the best. The photos with the highest votes will move to the next round and another voting round will happen. There will be several rounds until we've narrowed it down to the top photos and a winner will be announced.

Side note: If you want to donate to help fund prizes, go ahead and DM @languid pendant The more help we get with funding prizes, the more prizes we can hand out to not only the 1st place winner, but 2nd, 3rd, etc.

Last time I hosted the server banner event, I saw raw and mad talent.
And that got me thinking-
"hmmmmmmm how well could these guys perform in an emote making contest "

Giddy up for the Fitz Emote Contest Competition Event 2020 summer-monsoon-halloween edition pro max ultra ++
(I'll think of a decent name later i swear )

The rules to follow if you participate are SIMPLE-
• Emotes should be related to Fitz. You guys have the freedom to choose a theme of your choice!
• File size should not exceed 256KB and are to be submitted in PNG format.
• Non Fitz related emotes, memes, bad quality submissions will be discarded.
• Include minimum of 2 to 3 W.I.P pictures as proof that your submission is genuine.
• All W.I.P pictures and the final submission are supposed to be DMed to me. My DMs are open so no stress about shooting a request.

⚒️ Important things to keep in mind ⚒️
• DONT steal Fitz's Twitch emotes and submit it. Tweaking those emotes a bit isn't allowed either. Be original.
• DONT steal other people's art and turn it into an emote.
• DONT make anything that violates the ToS and Guidelines. A.k.a NSFW content.

Submissions will close on the midnight of NEXT Sunday, 23rd August. (GMT +5:30) [google and compare your time-zones accordingly xx]
A separate voting channel will be created where the server members will vote for their favorite emotes. This will last for 2 days.
