I am trying to do the chimney to wall route and I'm going in circles, all Google has told me is go 'up and right until you see a long horizontal room' can someone help me please?

Yeah if you try using directions online or looking up maps it's pretty liable to get lost or funneled into paths that are not ideal / that are best suited for going the other direction

Best thing to do is use your ingame map

It'll solve the going in circles issue by highlighting to you what rooms/directions you've not checked yet

You can then proceed through process of elimination
