i've been driving myself crazy for the past 3 hours trying to stitch together 180+ region mods (mostly taken from the mods wiki) and i have absolutely no idea where the incompatibilities are because the game goes through the intro video, and then hangs on a black screen.

if you can send these logs after recreating the error i should be able to figure it out
hmm. the only cat with an intro is surv and gourm ... maybe you got hit by load order edge case
I mean the intro video before the main menu, I'll send logs in a few minutes
oh i see, in that case its more likely to be an issue with a non-region mod (which i can still help with)

IteratorKit is deprecated, as is Memory Kit
Rain Meadow and XuanZeBuFeng's Random Code Stuff throw an error because Slugbase isn't enabled
Rain Meadow also throws an error because BeastMaster isn't enabled
NGI (Cliffside by Parageist, I think?) and XuanZeBuFeng's Random Code Stuff throw an error because you don't have Chasing Wind enabled
i would guess that the rain meadow + XZBF RCS slugbase errors are the cause of the issue, given that they take up the vast majority of the log

is there any faster way to move load orders around because i'm getting sick of clicking a tiny button 100+ times for these mods
as far as i'm aware no, but load order also shouldn't impact this
well the issue was mods not seeing their dependencies right?
even though they were enabled
that's not impacted by load order
(dependencies will always load below mods they depend on, because they need to load first anyway)
i would assume it has a compatibility patch for those mods

the slugbase one does really look like a dependency error tho ...

i can imagine that this could be a memory limit since it looks like the game is 32 bit but i could be wrong
it isn't pushing 4 gb exactly but it's close
the game should be 64 bit since the watcher release

it's unlikely, since it has custom code and hasn't been updated for latest yet

i haven't looked at all the errors in crslog yet but this one is the most problematic
there's more than one? 
there's a bunch of non-fatal errors where connections between rooms are broken in some way (like, a01 connects to a02 but a02 doesn't connect back to a01, stuff like that)
with the exception you have, some of these could be causative of the error
so, i gotta look at all of em

this probably won't end up being fatal, but a bunch of your region mods are eating each other's connections
like, Derelict Installation seems to have eaten Floating Isles' and Outer Outskirts' connection to SU_A17
(even though we have a whole spreadsheet to prevent conflicts like this ... but whatever)

so are these 3 incompatible with each other or is it like i can enable floating isles and outer outskirts but not derelict installation
they're mutually "incompatible", as in you'd only be able to access one of them from outskirts, but your game should remain loadable
there's ways to fix it but it's really complicated and annoying
actually this is one of the things that floodgate got made for, isn't it
maybe the floodgate dev would be able to patch it
outer outskirts is the only one with no other connections to other vanilla regions, do you think load order would affect which one gets the connection?
yeah, the one on top should get the connection
well, it can depend on how their modify file works .. but on top is generally a good bet

also, if it's not sunlit power plant, that would mean you have two regions with the same acronym, which means trying to enter either of them will freeze your game
perhaps the mod called Simple Parkour uses the region acronym SP

also i think it might be steam collections being weird but i got 2 mods which are now unlisted and just appear as numbers on the remix menu

well one of them was burgerking and i saw that one was broken somehow
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\312520\ <-- you can go here to find your workshop files - the folders are named with the mods' workshop ID. that's what the numbers in the remix menu are, if there's no modinfo it uses the name of the folder as the mod's name and ID
if you feel like it you can edit this template modinfo and put it into the folder, but
it is probably better to disable them
i don't feel like making more work for myself so i'm just gonna keep them disabled and when i give the collection to someone else i'll see if they get those mods
@astral aurora apologies if you dislike pings for this sort of thing, but i remembered you said one of the reasons you made floodgate was to fix incompatible regions
the following regions are incompatible because of connection conflicts:
Derelict Installation, Floating Isles, and Outer Outskirts (conflicting over SU_A17)
Western Intake, Underbelly (conflicting over SU_A32)
it's still technically possible to access all of the regions with this load order it's just that the outskirts gates probably cause problems if you go through them

modpack if anyone else comes across this and wants to play it
it immediately crashes when trying to host meadow multiplayer
this was totally expectedd
but here's the logs anyway if it's somehow fixable
duplicate acronym SC, ill figure out which mods are incompat in the morning
seems like sacred garden and storage compartments have the same acryonym but why does it only crash multiplayer?
i would assume rain meadow gets some data about regions while loading, and it exploded and died trying to do that
after testing, turns out that even with a modified load order derelict installation still gets the connection
that's strange, I do not remember adding anything related to SU_A17 into Outer Outskirts
it's conflicting because SU_PQ02 is between b12 and a17 ... . .. pq isn't outer outskirts it's the other one. that i forgot to look up the name of 
corroded passage
