On my first playthrough i saw a baby noot and thought, wow, that looks yummy... And the mom chased me till the end of the cycle and i ended up filling my hunger, while dodging the death spike, and got to a den and slept in it (with the noodle mom) and lived.
all the while i had no idea what was going on.
