First time playing Gourmand and I have a question

Hi, I'm going to play as the gourmand and before I start the campaign I really want to ask this: Is the scavengers bugged in this campaign too? I've played the spear master and the rivulet and both campaign had a big which made impossible to raise your status with the scavengers past cycle 0.
I really don't want to make the same mistake I did with spear master (played the whole campaign with this bug), so does anyone here know if this happens?
Ps:I'm playing on a Nintendo switch in the latest version (1.11.2b)

Are you sure it's a bug? (Are my scavenger reputations also screwed )

I've personally not had any troubles with scavs

I'm unaware of such a bug

Both those scugs start off with slightly negative scav rep, so you need to trade a little more for it to reflect on Chieftain
