Not entirely sure why, but every time I try to enter the Aether ridge - Torrid Desert portal, my game will semi-freeze. The rest of the game (Player, NPC's, and particles) will freeze, except for the portal sucking sound and portal effects continuing as normal.
The games framerate progressively gets worse and worse in this state, until even opening the menu to quit takes a good five seconds. I have no mods enabled. It might be the rot hive? Im not sure, but obviously I cannot remove it.
