in the first area does the game want you to go right because there's just a ton of hunters to the left and it started going right anyways in the beginning

If right's more practical for you go for it but you can reach a destination a million different ways

little confused cause if i go right i think i takes me to the iterators but left is five pebbles if im correct and i have no sense of direction/objective still
