I keep trying from both the top part and the bottom part doing a long jump throwing both spears and idk what to do

It is extremely tight, but I can reassure you it's possible
If there's any additional resources you think you can use, I'd recommend going for those, but also I think after a few tries you'll be able to get it
Some tips:
|| make sure you're holding your arrow key/joystick in the direction you're pouncing for more distance||
||hold up at the last second to catch the pole on the other side||
||try approaching the jump from both the bottom and the top ledge of that connection and seeing if either one puts you closer||

Directly after that my controller disconnected and made me walk off the edge of the map just to rub it in
