Hi gang! I am so very confused on how to play the watcher. So far I have already found ||the three echoes of the beginning|| and was ||transported to torrential railways||. From there I continued to do as a scug does and find food and attempt to find a place to sleep, while traversing. I have now gone through ||5 different regions|| and have not found anything of note. I have a feeling I'm missing things in these regions, but they also feel gigantic and if I've really missed something I'm unsure how I can even begin to backtrack. Should I just start a new game? I have a feeling I should ||have met more echoes by now|| but I haven't seen anything. Any advice is welcome, but please try to keep it spoiler light. I have really tried going into this game completely dark (I've played downpour and have about 350 hours in the game, so not a newbie in general).

I've just seen the karma flowers and the ||purple worms that lead me where I need to go||, but they disappear almost as soon as they arrive, and I'm left wondering where to go, am I completely missing something?

Keep them in your mind for when you find out their purpose, but l recommend not taking them literally, they do swim aimlessly. Explore wherever you haven't gone to yet based on your own judgement
It's a big campaign with multiple story routes intersecting together so don't worry about things being confusing at first! The ball of yarn will unravel when you begin understand what and where your goals are
And don't worry about feeling like you're missing stuff in regions, the game will have you return there some way or another
