I agree, it's kinda annoying. Real quick, can you stick "sunken pier" in spoiler tags (|| on both sides)? The top message is still viewable from outside the thread

There isn't a particular strategy I would really recommend, other than using your map to your advantage to try and find routes you haven't taken/routes that seem the easiest to you. (Even if the plausible routes are awful lol)
