I made it past the filtration system with all the black lizards. I'm now in the depths, but these tall fellows try and throw me whenever I attempt to go past them. I feel like ive tried everything and I'm not sure what to do now. Do I back track? Is there a way around them?

So I went all the way back to shoreline and found the little blue antennae'd fellow the yellow worm wouldnt stop bugging me about. I ate one of its floating jelly things, and while I certainly don't feel good about it, i do suppose I'm glowing now.

Its just dawned upon me that these orange glowing ghosts are likely leading me in some sort of 'correct' direction. Which, if I am not mistaken, would mean I have very much been travelling in the 'incorrect' direction
but maybe the real correct direction was the friends we made along the way

the dlc felt like it was rushed so it could be released on the day of the anniversary. it's not completely broken or anything, especially after several patches, but it was a disappointment to me and many other people, hence the very mixed reception of it

it was rushed for sure
what i'd recommend though is playing downpour first, not entirely because of watcher being unfinished (for watcher, they plan to release content updates for a bit before console release) but because it needs a bit more experience and understanding with the game
you can try hunter or survivor if you like without any of the dlcs though or enable more slugcats expansion and move to #1272670046434492426
