What are these rooms for? I found a few and I can't seem to interact with them in any way. Thought for a second they functioned as the flash that tells you there's an Echo around at first, but I'm fairly certain now that that's not it.
Mind you that my current maximum karma is four, and I am at four.
Also, I did find the Throne, although whatever the purpose of that specific place is remains a mystery to me.
