Im making my way towards shoreline through shaded, and I have encountered a long stretch of purple rot blocking the bridge. Is it possible to get past all that rot or should I turn around and find an alternate route?

hey gang i return, ive now checked the way towards garbage wastes and even towards the exterior, and both seem completely blocked by purple rot, is there any way to traverse through shaded?? or do I have to just backtrack through the whole region and go elsewhere?
