need advice please on lizard in shelter

im technically on my 2nd save file, only because i got stuck in subterranian area and i wanted to start over and go somewhere else. I made my way to shoreline and made it to a shelter in time for the rain, but a axolotl lizard went into the pipe as the shelter was closing, and when the morning came, it was fully inmy den and immediately killed me. I tried multipletimes to get out, and my karma disappeared, so i thought about using my only passage to escape it, but it spawned in that den too and kept on immediately killing me before the door could even open. I do not have any other items with me so i cant stun or harm it at all, and ive lost all my karma, and the lizard wont leave with my body out of the den, just sitting there slapping my body against the walls and glitching out or something. What can i do to salvage this because i dont want to restart from the beginning again.

Restarting isn't so bad. But if you really want to continue this save file, you can use cheats to get out quicker.

i looked online about this,, the creatures in your den arent supposed to be agressive when the cycle starts and the door is opening, but for my game, its basically instant death

what sort of cheats do i need to use?

you can use dev tools, or you could get the "warp menu" mod

Turn it on using "O" then use "V", it drags the slugcat to your mouse position

you have to make sure you enable the dev tools mod in remix though
