What do the rings around the region icons mean

also I guess misc questions in case anyone can answer them too

• what does it mean when I levitate when cloaking/uncloaking
• a weird rift looking visual appears wherever I cloak, what do it mean

the levitating ability may be useful for ||platforming and such ||
as for the rifts, you'll get a better idea about it later

from what i know, the two rings are unrelated to echoes and are just region selection indicators. there should be a different indicator for echoes though

your question about the rot icons, maybe it wouldn't hurt to visit and explore coral caves a little
but to confirm, it does mean for that region that ||it is infected ||

I don't remember where, but I saw some message saying that the region icons with gold rings around them are regions with echos in them. But when I hover over all the icons I have in the between cycle map, all of them show 2 rings around the icon, including regions ive been to and already seen echos in. There are some with a rot border, what does that mean? It's on coral cave for me, but no rot was there last time I checked. Do regions get infected? They also have one gold ring around them when I hover over them so I'm assuming ONE means youre just hovering over it and two means there's an echo there?
