freeze after entering portal

My girlfriend is playing The Watcher and every time she enters the final portal in ||Unfortunate Evolution|| the game simply freezes. She can enter the portal, but the game doesn't take her anywhere, it simply gets softlocked on that screen without a player or anything. She has gone through this section multiple times
