So here is the thing, just completed my first Gourmand campaing and got the 22 different foods before reaching the ending at Journey End.
I'm aware that by doing so it should unlock the Slugpups and change the image at the menu for the Gourmand.
Thing is, it doesn't show me the new image and didn't see any notification about the Slugpups.
Is it supposed to be done on a new playthrough or am I missing something?

It was a blue centipede eaten at the Shoreline, which icon matches the wiki.
It indicated that the foods could be eaten at any order, yet it was the last item I got. The black lizard for example was one of the first.
What's the deal with that?

You cna eat the food items in any order you wish
Upon loading a new cycle, it reorders itself to be the proper order
Aquapede doesnt appear to be final on your list :p

Is this guy the Aquapede you refer to?
If so I've definitely eaten it, I'm not sure why it isn't at the end of the list.
And would appreciate guidance on the matter.

Also, just to clarify, I loaded the campaing again to check if I needed to get the ending again, yet the Aquapede was still not last on the list.

You can eat the items on the food list in any order, and it'll show up in that order on the acquired cycle
On the next cycle, the list automatically reorders itself to be what would be shown should the list be progressed normally
Food that has been eaten and stored is full in color
The black lizard is last on your list, not the Aquapede

I'm not sure I follow, for what I understand that would mean that one of the foods were not completely eaten or something?

You probably ate one on a cycle you died on and didnt eat it again :p
Its not a thing that saves between deaths

If that is the case I don't quite get it, because I've died between having eaten some before saving and the icon would go away.
If they are all there it should mean it saved?
Is there a way to know which food would be missing or I'm just F'd and have to go over the whole list again?
