For years, I chased it. The dream that lingered just past my reach, a gleaming star that refused to fall into my grasp.
I built my steps with stone and sweat, higher and higher, convinced the summit would grant me clarity.
But as I climbed, the peak seemed to retreat - always distant, always elusive.
What was it I sought? Glory? Fulfillment? A legacy that would outlast even the mountains?
The world I tried to claim stretched endlessly before me, vast and indifferent.
And then it struck me โ Perhaps it was not the summit that moved, but my eyes that failed to see the horizon as it truly was.
Now I sit here, on the edge of all I know, and watch the clouds drift in the sky.
The climb was never the answer. It was the view from where I stood all along.
