ADMIN: Several Shut Doors… hm, a lot of Iterators have asked why they were named the way they are. I am surprised you haven’t asked.
SSD: Will all due regards, Administrator, I’m more interested in this civilization’s behavior.

SSD: Yes, I have been watching with my overseers. It’s beautiful, really, to see this little city on top of me.
SSD: To be fair, I have seen outside as well. The ecosystem is very bizarre.
ADMIN: So you are interested in watching others. How would you feel if the entire city is empty?
SSD: Pardon?
ADMIN: We’re going to ascend, soon. Some people are already heading out.
SSD: …isn’t that a little selfish?
SSD: I read through the logs and found out that we’ve been installed with a self-destruction taboo, making our attempts at figuring out ascension fairly niche.
ADMIN: Are you.. questioning your code?
SSD: Administrator, I am simply asking. You say you are fine with me asking questions, correct?
ADMIN: I believe it’s better not to question this topic, Doors. Even when we’re gone, you can discuss with fellow Iterators on what to do next. I’ve noticed your appalling lack of trying to discover those programs. I do hope you break out of this shyness soon.

ADMIN: We plan a 2nd mass ascension of the city tomorrow morning. The rest of us will migrate down. Do you have any final questions for your administrator, Several Shut Doors?
SSD: Why do you all have to leave? I don’t see any point in ascension.
ADMIN: It’s to break free of this dastardly cycle. I believe you understand.
SSD: Administrator, in the several cycles I’ve been activated, I’ve grown fond over watching the wildlife. I’m not sure I want to work on the problem. Don’t you see how beautiful this growth is?
ADMIN: Do not question me, Several Shut Doors. It is your goal to find a way of ascension.
SSD: Why must it be so easy for all of you? Why do you leave us with what seems to be a puzzle? I’ve been questioning this since cycle one! This is selfishness!
ADMIN: Several Shut Doors, calm yourself. I won’t tolerate this behavior.
SSD: If I could perform a task so easily, and forced you to take many cycles out of your time to solve it, how would it make you feel? I’ve already tried starting figuring it out, but gave up after 2 cycles of work. And here you all are, jumping into the Void Sea.
ADMIN: Doors. Stop this violent rant. It’s better you don’t question it. You were lucky to be given life for this purpose.
SSD:
ADMIN: Doors? You’re silent now.
ADMIN: Doors, I hear you thinking about what I’m saying. That aggressive ticking noise.
SSD:…sorry. I was thinking about what you said. I’m being a fool, aren’t I?
ADMIN: Don’t call yourself that. Let us not fight anymore. I don’t want your last memory of your administrator yelling at you.
SSD:..say, administrator? May I please make a request?
ADMIN: I suppose it would be rude to decline. Go on.
SSD: Perhaps can you give me administration as well? My actions around the city are limited, and I think that after you all leave, I might take a visit around my city with my overseers.
ADMIN: You were violent towards me minutes ago. How can I tell you aren’t trying to trick me?
SSD: I.. am only a good several cycles old. I still haven’t computed trickery.

ADMIN2: Several Shut Doors deserves at least control over her city. If we don’t give it to her, she won’t be able to have more freedom. In fact, she might find the key somewhere in a house.

SSD: Hello, citizens of my city. Today must excite you all. Unfortunately, not any ascension will occur at the moment. In fact, it may not happen again in this city for a long time.
