#Brief Freezing and Hard Crashing on Shared Devices

Sorry for the esoteric title and lack of important files such as logs and screenshots.

I've been playing Rain World on two devices. A big desktop computer and a little tablet computer. Steam Cloud Sync seems to handle the file transfer rather well, and there seems to be no sign of corruption on either platform.

However: I will occasionally get brief freezes on my desktop computer. It seems to be when I'm close to the loading zone for a new room. I approach a new room and the game will hang for roughly ten seconds before I can resume playing the game. It's annoying, but I could handle it while on that platform.

The issue comes in that my tablet computer will lead to the game not responding and forcing me to restart the application. I even encountered issues where the game crashing leads to my tablet hard crashing; requiring me to restart the computer itself for me to get it working again.

The slowdowns seem a little inconsistent, because I was able to get through Spearmaster's campaign, yesterday, without any crashing, but now I can't touch Rivulet or Saint in Expedition without the game hard crashing. It could very well be an issue with my devices and I'd just need to know what to verify the integrity of.

Here's the console log from the mentioned Rivulet Expedition that led to a crash. No exception log was printed.

#

Here's the save file if that helps at all, too.

:O

#

I just had the game not crash at all.

#

Hold up I'm going to test this.

Nevermind. It was nothing vanilla related. It seems to be a bug tied to Sharpener. I’ll mention @bleak solar, but I don’t know how any of this would help.

I have no idea how that could possibly be Sharpener's fault, especially since it's triggered by something in-game slugshrug
