i made this cool lizard by changing the stats of the red lizard using the lizard customizer mod, but whenever I try to put him into arena mode, pressing play causes the game to freeze on a black screen. i'm able to load in other customized lizards. the relationship settings are all the red lizard's defaults

Update: i just tried to make a different lizard, and it also broke in the exact same way.

i have figured out the problem
there's something about loading a pack file that makes this happen
if you try to load a pack file, you need to alter any changed lizards in the pack before you apply the mod
otherwise the altered lizards will fail to load

it turns out that might not be the issue
hmmm
ah! i figured it out
it's something about leg count
i thought it might have been something to do with incompatible settings
turns out that's exactly what it was
nevermind!
here's what i just did:
i have edited the eel lizard to be identical to the blue lizard
i then edited both of them to have 6 legs instead of four
the blue lizard was able to spawn
the eel lizard was not, and it caused the black screen
when they both have the regular four legs, the edited eel lizard can spawn
zinc garden
I’m kind of having this problem too, except when I spawn it in with beastmaster, my mouse freezes and I’m unable to play
