everything works perfectly with all other mods but trying to use Fancy slugcats and upon installing and activating custom assets in BOI the mod config menu in options disappears and the game plays as vanilla as though no mods are installed, how do I fix this besides never using a mod that requires custom assets?

Close the game and upload the exceptionLog.txt file that you can find on your root installation folder (next to the .exe, default Steam path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rain World).
To send the file, drag and drop it into the Discord window. Do not copy and paste the contents of the file.
