Why am I killing zombies with spikes and my progress isn't being protected?

(I killed more than 3 zombies with spikes)

thats a common glitch for me, you gotta wait, maybe refreshing the website of pilgrim outpost would definetly help

Kicking them into the spikes or grappling them into it doesn't count anymore they need to kill themselves or some goon/demolisher/volatile to kick them into it
