I've been having this awful problem with "Dying Light: The Beast" since the launch of the game, I play on a "Xbox Series S console" where the game runs to like what? 20 - 30 fps? Is really freaking annoying, and I'm barely even able to fight against the infected, baron's militia, or do simple things as parkour.
This really kills my mood for playing this game, and I already tried everything I can from the menu or the game, turning off everything in the video section, lowering the fov to 56, and even lowering the brutality level, I must let clear that I don't have the option to change the resolution of the game from "Quality" to "boost FPS", which is weird because the game loading times are practically non-existent, and the game engine is the same as the "Dying Light 2: Stay Human" and DL2 goes smooth as hell.
Anyway, IDK what else to do, can anybody give me an advise? (Sorry for my bad English)
#Boost FPS? (In Console)

I don’t believe there’s an option for the Series S I’m afraid. The console is much weaker compared to the Series X. Mainly cause Techland updated the engine to be more demanding with the things they’ve added.
Xbox Series X funny enough doesn’t have a balanced mode either.
There’s apparently optimizations coming on the release day for an update to smooth out certain issues but gotta wait and see on that.
I hope so, but the updated engine doesn't really do much changed to the original engine, idk why it is so "demanding"
I wish they release an optimization update or something, cause the experience playing the game in a Series S Is painful
Weather effects, somewhat of a dynamic sandbox overhaul for the shadows and sun I think, and forgot what else on that regard.
How DL1 had everything at low demand hardware for that game to be looking fine and ahead of its time compared to its sequels kinda shocks me lol
But yeah unfortunately gotta rely on the update to see if anything has improved
