Hi all,
I‘m having this issue that my game closes with no warning/error message to desktop. This only happens when im Calling for help after maybe a couple 5-15min?, my specs are:
Ryzen 7 7800x3d
rx 9070xt
16gb single 6000mhz ( tryna get 32gb, but at these prices no way)

Like i said this only happens when im „calling for help“ because I dont have friends to play with and im scared to play alone. Also little micro stuttering when „calling for help“.

Probably ram, my friend had the same issue in dying light one with his 16gb ddr5 (Kingston fury) and it fixed once he swapped ram kits to 16x2 corsair

#

Also the 15 minute timer was the same as my friend, I think it’s a case of the ram hitting that 16gb cap and closing the game to keep the pc’s operating system running and preserving files

Odd, it would most likely be a ram issue…

since textures also take up ram etc

#

and yes if it uses 10gb so what, ur left with 6gb of ram for ur background and system processes

Don't worry it's perfect

Maybe you could try turning off the steam and Nvidia app overlays at least that worked to me

Go to:
NVIDIA App → Settings → Disable NVIDIA Overlay

Steam

Right click the game in Steam → Properties → General → disable "enable the Steam Overlay while in-game"

At least this worked to me but maybe our problems are different.
Also the VRAM is important not only the RAM

Vram is just dedicated video ram

#

In short video ram is faster and stronger to ensure clean graphics

#

However u need system ram for remembering code lines and also help the gpu when it DOES exceed 100% ram usage
