So, I've reached out to support on the website about this on jan 5th still no reply. Is the truck getting flashing lights? because they don't currently flash or even have the red & blue lights at all with the police skin. Even the buggy in the following had the lights on top flashing red & blue.

I thought they would have flashing lights as well it’s part of the reason I pre ordered. But sadly they do not, they never had lights I assume they added them in the picture to further represent that it’s a police truck. The bar where the lights would be is actually the UV bar so it couldn’t function as lights. I wish they made the car skin iconic rarity and gave it the lights.

I feel like it's false advertising to draw in pre-orders for players that liked the lights on the buggy in DL1. That's what brought me in for the pre-order. I'm sure they could figure it out. They've come so far now. No more rain coming through the roofs of anything like in DL 2.

I’d assume most people pre ordered for the weapons and outfit, but yeah I big part of why I got it was the truck. Maybe they’ll potentially add it in the future. But it’s not a big deal, we got a bunch of stuff for the pre order and they added the legacy skin, apex car skin and the glowing shotgun.

That is true, for me it was the truck. I was like time to run over zombies with a police vehicle. It is possible they may add it. I'm still hoping for vehicle upgrades like with the buggy. Which seemed to be way tougher than the truck.

Yeah i had the same thought lol, but I agree I never cared for the Buggy personally because I like actual vehicles over go karts but what I did like about the Buggy and why I used it was being able to upgrade it. If they added upgrades to the truck it’d be perfect. They could add upgraded gas tank and UV battery, sheet metal on the windows for added armor, spikes or snow plow on the bumper, heavy duty tires that have better grip and don’t lose as much speed when going through water, upgraded engine to increase speed cap from 60mph to 80-100, and potentially a flamethrower or turret on the back for co op. It’s a lot of fun riding around with friends and they shooting out the windows I’m glad it can hold 4 people unlike the Buggy that held 2
