The story is that during the New Year sales, my friends from Belarus and Russia (both of whom are against the war and all that, I'm sure) bought Dl2. They both got through the prologue, and now we're trying to start the game, but there's a problem. The Belarusian can connect to me, but the Russian cannot. And if the Russian connects to the Belarusian, then I won't be able to connect. We tried everything, and file integrity and other things didn't help. So I decided to ask here.

I don't know specifically for DL2, but I know a lot of games implemented regional matchmaking restrictions for Russian accounts back in 2022. The pattern you're describing (Belarusian can connect but Russian can't) matches what I've seen in other games. Have you tried VPN?
