so earlier today i joined a public game on nightmare where the host was level 150 but one other dude on the team was 300 and he was oneshotting everything including the lab chimeras before the final encounter. meanwhile im getting downed by regular zombies and cant seem to kill anything. how was he able to do it? is it just a level difference? ive only hopped on a couple of times after the addition of legend levels so im fairly low around 40 iirc. (im washed)

is it a matter of having a higher level and when joining someone that is lower than you the difficulty stays low?

i just remembered now that ive recorded a clip at the very end. hes literally holding a baseball bat and i didnt notice it until now.

ill take any tips i get cause im struggling with weapons even though i have them all upgraded

Yes level and difficulty are a huge factor

So if you are much lower than the rest of the group you will struggle

If you are much higher, you will breeze through everything

Yeah it’s just the level difference, if a level 300 player joins someone who’s a much lower than they are they’ll easily one shot everything that’s why I kept a lot of my weapons from before getting OP so when I play co op I’ll use a weapon that matches the level of the player I join that way I don’t dominate their game and ruin their experience but if they want me to I will use my normal weapons to help them speed the process
