I know this has been a complaint but this is genuinely ABSURD. Maybe my combat is ass, maybe it’s because I’m using knives, but this is an insane amount in under a minute. I love using knives but the frequency is making them a bit hard to use.. i just have to dodge at the right moment, lest this shit happens

I hated them too until I got used to using Grapple Throw.
First game in the series to not have a prompt for it so learning the timing took a bit

I have to get used to using that as well, I’m used to the prompt in DL2 but I find myself accidentally using it and it’s very useful

I have rebind grab escape to the mouse thumb button. It's so quick to use then

Yeah they grab wayyyyy to often, it’s easy to use quick escape or use a knife to get out but the fact you can get grabbed so much is genuinely an issue. You can adjust how you go play to avoid that from happening but the infected grab too much in general. They shouldn’t be trying to grab you 80% of the time and you should never get spam grabbed, there should be some kind of cooldown for being able to be grabbed again at very least. Been playing DL2 a lot recently and it’s crazy how little you get grabbed even though I’m playing the same way I do on The Beast, I’m not sure why the ramped the grabs to the moon. Worst part is they’ve already nerfed it and it still happens 😅

I feel like they should only be trying to grab you when your crowded because a single biter isn’t grabbing and holding Kyle crane 🗿

That’s why maybe the way im playing isn’t helping, I’ve gotten so comfortable with how much less the biters grab you in DL2. That recording genuinely had my mind blown with the sheer amount of consecutive grabs 🥲
