Are you playing Bloody Ties too?
If yes, then yes. I'm facing crashes on that dlc too
nope just playing the normal game with the event
i play for 10min or less and game just closes down thats it....
That's what been happeneing with me too
Well, haven't tried it on a regular game yet. But it's happening quite frequently. Gonna see if Frame Gen off fixes the issue.
does the game like freezes for you too and then closes after few seconds?
What are your PC specs?
5060 ti ryzen 7800x3d 32gb ram 6000
Turn frem gen off
what about dlss
Tried it without frame gen, yea turn it off.
Frame gen is a broken feature in this game. Not properly implemented.
since a lil bad with some systems, where would u turn off frame gen?
playing dying light 2 for the first time
its just since i have a decent pc but i do sometimes suffer with similar lag or crash problems
Doesn't matter what pc you've got. It's just a game problem. I got a 5070 ti oc and still crashes a lot with frame gen. Settings>video and look for frame gen when you scroll down
alr, ima test the game with it on for now, but if it does end up crashing ill make sure its off
ty tho, been hyped to play dying light 2 for a while after seeing a lot of stuff to do with the most recent released game
Hi there, I’ll list the possible solutions, if it doesn’t work lmk,
- turn on hardware accelerated GPU
- make sure any sort of framegen is turned off(FSR, or dlss)
- no upscaling
- set video settings to either high quality or medium quality
if this doesn't work lmk, there are a few more solution
i turned off frame gen and it hasnt crashed.... but i am still using dlss and it works normaly
DLSS is fine. FrameGen is the issue. Not properly implemented. Tho it works fine for me in villador but not in the carnage hall (Bad Blood)
Every time I turn on the FG in Carnage Hall. After 10-20 minutes, it crashes no matter the settings. So, the issue hasn't been addressed, or Techland hasn't made it compatible with new GPUs.
