Volatile Nest/Hive Locations

These are all of the locations I have found so far that have a chance of a night time random encounter with the Volatile larva.

Is there really any reason to do these hives right now?

Nope you can't even do anything to those nests which is a big let down

are you sure because at night there was a hive that the game asked me to clear in a tunnel first time I got it tho and I died didn’t have any good items

they have decent loot, legendary valuables and military medkits

they're repeatable random encounters similar to bandit encounters and whatnot

I havent had it pop up ever that I could do anything with them.

go to the highway tunnel at night near the safe house where you get the crossbow

BTW in the new update I think they fixed it cuse they spawn in all of them now

Yes the spawn rate was fixed

In the first game if you cleared them out in the following specifically it would reduce the number of volatiles at night because there was soooo many

THEY ADDED IN MORE NESTS

yeah they added at least 3 new locations in the latest patch, along with adding map markers for them once you've discovered them, which is nice

I wish they added at least like four or three per location

here's a map someone on reddit made that has them all now

Villa, Highrail, and Warehouse are the ones they added, the others already existed since launch

more would be nice yeah but this is at least a better balance
