its the achievement where i have to kill 112 enemies with a flamethrower and i feel like ive gotten it but is there an option to check on this achievement. theres no tracker on steam is there in-game?

There is no tracker, I also didnt get it yet even tho I think I killed more than 112

For fuel, always search on truck and van tanks (on those its guaranteed fuel)
