Hi Techland team,
First of all, thank you for your continued work on Dying Light 2. It’s an amazing game that I’ve enjoyed deeply — especially because of its immersive world and the sense of realism that stamina management added to parkour and exploration.
As a player who enjoys challenges, I loved that I had to think strategically and plan my movements carefully — deciding when and how to climb, and which upgrades to prioritize. It made the game feel more intense and rewarding.
I originally finished Dying Light 2 back at release, and recently decided to return. However, I was very disappointed to see that such a crucial mechanic — stamina consumption during climbing — was completely removed. What’s even more confusing is that some of the parkour skills that used to improve stamina still remain in the game, with their old descriptions, even though the mechanic no longer exists.
I’m honestly upset by this change, and I know that many other fans share the same opinion. Please consider adding an option (a toggle) in the settings that allows players to choose whether stamina is consumed during parkour and climbing.
That way, both playstyles could coexist — those who prefer smoother, unrestricted movement, and those who appreciate the realism and challenge that stamina management brings.
Thank you for listening to the community and for your dedication to keeping Dying Light 2 alive.
Best regards,
Vlad
