Hi, I have a question about the DL2 and DL The Beast free...
Lemme give some context first: A friend of mine purchased DL2 a couple months ago, when you announced that DL The Beast would be for free for owners of Ultimate Edition. The thing is, he didn't run DL2 in his machine because he couldn't at that time (low specs), so obviously in pilgrimoutpost he only had DL1 appear with the "green light". Still, he owned both DL and DL2. Now, since he managed to upgrade his PC, managed to run DL2 today for the first time.
Having said this, he doesn't have DL The Beast in his Steam Library, but has both DL1 and DL2 from way before September 30. Is there a chance DL The Beast would appear in his library now that he managed to run DL2, or since Sept 30 was the deadline it won't? I have the screenshots that say that he bought the Dying Light True Survivor Pack (which had DL1 and DL2 with Bloody Ties, and more stuff) on Dec 18, 2024.
Will he get DL:TB?
#DLThe Beast doubts about getting it free

No unless he bought the ultimate edition he will not get the beast for free
He's got the same edition I have, but he didn't get it, that's why I'm asking...
Another question: What's the difference between Reloaded Edition and Ultimate Edition? I have Reloaded Edition (he too) but I got DL:TB, so... Is Ultimate Edition and Reloaded Edition the same? Or was it renamed at some point?
Okay, I did some digging, and... Ultimate Edition was an upgrade to the (now) Reloaded Edition, but then it was all renamed to just Reloaded Edition... Since I bought it first, maybe it's like this: I guess I got the Ultimate, got renamed, and my friend didn't get the Ultimate Upgrade (getting only the Reloaded Edition without the upgrade). So that should explain why he didn't get DL:TB but I did.
It's a little confusing because on the surface (without seeing which DLCs I have) it's called Reloaded Edition; but when looking at the DLCs, obviously I have more stuff than just Bloody Ties... And only on my purchase history appears the "Ultimate Upgrade".
I'm guessing that's it, then. I'm gonna leave this post here in case someone else has the same doubts as me, unless it gets deleted by someone else.
Thanks for the reply @bronze current tho 🙂
