My game crashes after a while on dx 12

But on dx11 I get like 5 fps on low with dlss

Set the preset graphics to Medium, in that texture will be high i guess.

DLSS on balance or performance for fps.
You can try FSR as well.

Limit the fps to 80 or 90 if you like at least it won't spike.

In the latest hotfix dev may fix the fps drop issue so hope for best.

my main thing was running dx11, alot of people say theres no point but i switched and it stopped studdering and got rid of my vram leak. most of the other settings have a very small impact on the actual visuals. theres a few videos on youtube that explain it and show the differences but most of my stuff is on medium and a few on low.

so if you havent tried yet, switch to 11 and see if it makes any difference

thats fair, hopefully you'll be able to support it as some point if thats what you want. When I built mine I spent like $2000 but there was like $200-300 in shipping. Wished I would have waited a bit to do the build and save money. Even if you have an old computer theres still a bunch of simple games new and old to play (like DL1, the goat) and also Max Payne 3

I was lucky and didn't buy my PC, I'm actually using my fiancee's hand me down rig from her upgrade with a non K i7-8700.

I've never really been a PC guy so I just bought a 3060 about 3 weeks before the 40 series dropped (I was kicking myself) but here we are.

DLTB works great on it despite being at high settings with DLSS at quality on 1080p it's on the lower end sure, but I'm locked at 60 and I'm happy with that, although funnily enough when I first started the game I was at 1440p balanced DLSS but for some reason after meeting Olivia I can't get it to stay at 60 anymore. On top of that when I enable FSR's frame gen, my gpu usage drops to 50% instead of staying higher to compensate for the extra frames being generated shrugs no idea why.

try dx11, run medium on textures and the whole advanced list, turn off the screen effects like ambient occlusion ect., turn of vsync and cap the fps at 80 it will bounce above the cap sometimes but i run 80 just to be sure it doesnt cause a vram leak
