Can anyone identify this weapon?

My buddy’s co-op game was glitched and his character model was missing.. except for his head and watch (on his end I only had floating hands.)

On top of that his weapon models were acting funky as well. The game wasn’t showing the proper weapon he was using. In this photo he’s holding some huge blade that I haven’t seen before, and after growing tired trying to search the internet and coming up empty handed at every turn, I’ve come to the people who’d know best.

Did we discover something or are we idiots who had a good time with bugs.

completing quests in coop gives you an item in the valuabes section that you can open for items
