I play on a Samsung QN90D and have my preferred TV settings i like, took me a while to get it how I like it. Hdr works fine for the most part I like it BUT on dltb it feels excessively bright, the contrast of bright area when I look at darker areas shoots up, the contrast of bright areas in general just seems way too much, when I go into first person in the car it looks like outside of the car just shoots up in contrast. even turning my max luminance down it's wayyyyy too bright

The default hdr settings feels like I'm on mushrooms nearly.
Probably on my end but I haven't had an issue with hdr like this

Yeah the HDR is really bad implanted, they said they working on it ti fix it

#

What do you have your hdr set at in the game ?

6000 max lum, it's what my xbox is set at with the boxes the same brightness. I don't know how to use hdr the best though tbf🙄
I lowered it to about 2/2.5k though but even then it's very bright

Have my scene brightness at 0.95, just been testing

Try around like 775 lum or around there

I also turned off light streaks, not sure if that's why the sky box gets so bright or not but it seems better with it off

arctic frigate
#

Yeah I turn all that off

#

Okay so I checked, I have min 1625 lum rn

#

Screen brightness (up to you) 1.10

#

I mean hopefully by the time they fix this, we won’t be needing to tune all this stuff lol

storm sun
#

I already have to tune constantly 😭 it's annoying when you don't know much about tech, and when you have to tune with dltb it's dreadful, but hopefully it's fixed soon, ngl sdr on here looks So dim

arctic frigate
#

Yeah I agree on that, but it has looked better with the tune, yeah with out HDR it looks horrible

#

It has to be on, to be played for me

When I came out of the tutorial, the game looked like I just ate a bunch of shrooms
