Cardinal directions on compass - Xbox

I’ve noticed since release that the compass directions are not accurate per the map, they are actually backwards -north in the compass leads you south, east leads you west. Not sure if this is true for all systems, but it is and has been like this on Xbox since release.

Phahaha that's why i catch myself going in a complete opposite directon often. Didn't notice it daaamn, can you even call that a bug or just lazy?
