Not really sure how to describe this, check the attached video. The whole bridge was cleared and I wasn't in a chase or anything. I simply entered a tunnel that I assume the devs marked as a "dark zone" and the zombies outside of it respawned. Not sure if the game difficulty matters, but I'm playing on the highest.
