Ive been playing through the beast for a little bit now and all of a sudden the game keeps popping up a dialouge box that says "connection was lost" or something like that even though i am connected.

I'm getting this every 5-10 minutes! It's so immersion breaking. There is nothing wrong with my connection, some is wrong your end!

in the middle of my first chase... connection info.... uuughh, nearly got me killed as I was jumping between buildings!

well i have it on steam, but when it loaded, Epic started up, so I assume the game is running through that too!

This isn't Epic related, it's a game bug.
I managed to force disable the Epic Overlay, but I still got the popup 😭

It's really ruining the game for me!

I wonder if you have logs, tried to replicate it. You have other stuff open on Network? Maybe heavy load local network?

it happens while I'm streaming so maybe that could be the cause? but I have mostly really good speed and its never caused any issues before

im having this happen to me as well, every 5 mins it seems though. im using epic games. my ethernet is plugged in and everything. they need to fix this soon.

Hey, what helped me get rid of that issue is setting the game privacy(matchmaker) to single player. That'll rid the connection lost box until they fix the issje

Yeah I think it has to do with the call for help button or something

not sure if that has anything to do with it but until the connection issue is solved, single player game session is the way to go

I got that and it really freaked me out. some random yank talking to someone else and it took me a while to figure out what it was
