if you can turn on dx12 please do, dx11 has input lag by default
yeah dx11 is the problem
i also found mouse smoothing also adds alot too i turned it down to 0 feels way better
my dx12 only has ray tracing
so my pc wont be able to run at good fps with that
open video.scr

C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\dying light 2\out\settings
set this to d3d12
the game will open up using dx12

theres a reason why we got option for toggling graphics api
if the system doesnt support 12_1 feature the game will crash or doesnt work properly
also input lag have a lot of cause
not just from the game
if bro's gpu support dx12 with ray tracing it's probably more than enough for dx12 I wouldn't see a reason why it couldn't run it, worst case scenario, game crashes
dx11 has noticable input lag for dl2
I know it because I play both dx12 and 11 version of the game
dx12 have the ability to do async compute
it does makes input lag lesser and rendering are stable, smoother
with dx11 maybe use nvidia reflex on + boost
also dont need to change graphics api from file, just go to the game video setting
thats why i guess their gpu cant run dx12 or not support it

I'm trying to turn it on now and it says you need to restart i save it press okay then check settings and it keeps it at D3D11
