The base version requires an enhanced upgrade for 10€ (roughly), do I also need this for the definitive edition? Because afaik no, but I wanna double check just in case.

there's probably a way to get a "definitive upgrade" but wouldn't it be better to just buy the definitive edition?
also yes, dying light 1 is playable on ps4 & ps5

the thing is the enhanced upgrade costs extra for base game users

well, if you got definitive edition you wouldn't need an "enhanced upgrade" bc definitive already includes everything the game has 🤔

the enhanced version of dl1 is just the base game + dlc & a couple of bundles

That is what I think too, wait the DE actually came later right.

The patch was like 2022 and the DE was 2023

actually 2016 came the enhanced edition? But the ps5 upgrade came 2022 or so
