When will I get Dying Light The Beast for free?

Techland’s emails word it out in a very weird way, that makes it seem we will get the game on release day, 22nd of August. This is very concerning because many people want to preload, as they have bad internet. At least, allow us to buy the game separately from the store. Not allowing people to buy the game if they own DL2 Ultimate is just bad consumer practice that is being forced onto people, not knowing if they will be able to preload or not. Many emails from Techland that responded to this issue, claim you will get the game on release day, basically, eliminating your ability to preload it. I’m just very confused

You will get the game on the 22nd of August as stated. Not all games offer preload, they may announce or not, we don't know. In the end it's a trivial matter as you will get to play it anyways.

Yeah, they will most likely not do preloads like they did with DL2

If they do preloads, it will be unfair

For people that own DL2 Ultimate

You seem to have misunderstood, Ultimate owners should have the game in their library by August 22nd. Most people will get it before then, and can download the game when it becomes available for download. (I already have it in my library)

Yeah. Techland is just wording it the wrong way in Support emails that they send to you

they specifically stated you'd get it on release day in emails
