hello i jump in the middle of this post x ask you how can i check if i have the ultimate editon of the game on steam? I only remember buying the most expensive version available at the time, if I'm not mistaken, like a month after launch.

you see it in your steam purchase history, and in the dlc tab. and if you have ultimate you should already see the beast in your game library

I can't find the game anywhere, but I found that I have the ultimate version of the game (dl2) and I think that this way I should receive the day 1 copy of the Beast directly in my profile
(This copy of the game I have was given to me by a person who bought it from a third party store)

TL:DR
Original Ultimate Edition bought on preorder/during launch is literally named on steam as "Ultimate Pack".
Why? Because "Ultimate Pack" is only a DLC name for the Ultimate Edition. Everyone with Ultimate Edition, whether its an upgrade or original purchase, will have "Ultimate Pack" as a DLC.
Same for Deluxe Edition: They will see "Deluxe Pack".
It cant be considered different, because it'd make no sense, how would you distinguish an edition from pack and what would be the difference?

You posted a screenshot yourself, brata, where you do have the ultimate pack, alongside an upgrade(meaning you probably upgraded from normal version, didnt buy ultimate to begin with).

Really curious to see whether Techland is dropping the game to userbase Library in batches, or whether there was a technical error somewhere

ultimate pack could also be purchased separately, and includes -2h Night XP Boost / Crafting items, and is also included in the ultimate edition/ ultimate upgrade

So those who only have the ultimate pack don't have the ultimate edition

Yeah, i hope it too. Ultimate Edition was 80 - 100€ so it should have the beast in it.

I also got the email with the wallpapers for ultimate Edition owners. But still no beast

Guys be sure u get ''Dying Light 2 Ultimate'' at steam Home > Account > Licenses and product key activations . Ultimate Upgrade thing which shown at the DLC tab is not essential to get The Beast for free. as @agile mauve said probably Grinder upgrade his version from normal or deluxe to ultimate. That explains why Ultimate Upgrade seems as a dlc in his tab. As a consequence it's not necessry jut be sure what I said at the first sentence I wrote.

the beast is being rolled out every day now to ultimate owners. and Techland has said it should be in the library before release . or at the latest on the release date

I upgraded to ultimate a month after release. That's why it says ultimate upgrade in the licenses section

I'm not sure but maybe the Retail RoW keys have an issue to get the beast bcs of region problems. Bcs all of global key users, Ultimate Edition buyers and Ultimate upgrade buyers get the beast in their library instantly.

Well according to some users with similar problem (ROW key aka preorder/during game launch) - Beast would be added to libraries during release of the beast. Guess its a waiting game.

Yeah that's what I would think too, like how all the others who bought from Steam got it automatically, why do we have to wait when we actually supported Techland more by purchasing directly from Xsolla to cut their Steam fees down...

it's confusing that there are 2 versions of the ultimate edition on steamDB that show they include The Beast, but the ROW Ultimate Preorder doesn't show it 🙁 Hope they sort it out very soon, I'm nervous :/

Version 534165 and 676946 apparently have "Dying Light: The Beast" included, both of these ID's are just named "Dying Light 2 Ultimate".
However, there is also the ID 677471, which is labeled as "Dying Light 2 Ultimate Retail Preorder (ROW)" and this one doesn't have "Dying Light: The Beast" included if you click on Apps on steamDB.

I read on reddit that the humble bundle preloads for dltb aren't showing up and it is a bug that they have acknowledged. They had advised to wait until the 18th to see if it updates on Tech lands side and allows the downloads. Otherwise you'll need to query it with them. I got DL2 on PS5 and I pre ordered ultimate back then as well. I am not even able to preload and it seems I may have to wait until release to even start downloading it
