I recently started a new save and bought two dlc's with weapons and gear. I dont't worry about the weapons cuz you have blueprints and also they scale with your level, but the gear doesn't seem to and so I wanted to know if I can discard/sell the dlc gear (with our without mods) and then when I'm at a higher survivor rank and claim it will it be stronger? Or will the next chance to get the gear at a higher rank be only on NG+?

I also realised that some gear items (for example gloves) don't seem to have a level. Does that mean that they have fixed stats or maybe they do actually scale with your survivor rank?
