Incredibly choppy gameplay to the point of unplayability

I have an RTX 4080 super and intel i9 so performance isnt the issue, i've tried low graphics, i've tried ultra graphics, results are all the same. i run a consistent 165 frames, but it will instantly shoot down to about 1 frame making the game almost unplayable, any fixes? it also doesnt seem to pick up on my screen recording software, not sure what thats about

Same I am having the same issue with some major lag when I am on higher lvl resolution. My FPS is going all over when I'm on 2500 but when I changed it to 1900 it was okay.

I heard I think that the latest nvidia driver had issues?

I can't really talk about that certainly because I do not use an nvidia card but maybe try downgrading the driver and see if that fixes the issue

also if you could attach a video I would highly appreciate it

GeForce Hotfix Driver 572.65 released yesterday .Try it and see if it helps.

my frame rate goes from 150 down to 50 in a matter of seconds

I figured out the issue, i was using DLSS, not really sure why it causes issues only for me in dying light but once i turned it off its fine now

the issue was with dlss, though since my screen recording software only had an option for 30fps it wouldn’t show because it was every other frame since dlss is frame by frame generation

yeah as I said I don't have an nvidia issue so I can't really help with it even if I want to
