Session Perks don't apply their effects

I've seen that it seems that PS4 Players without PS+ cannot use session perks and was hoping if there was going to be a hotfix fixing that or if there's some way to change that.

I just set my game to coop in game and they started working for me even playing solo

Haven't heard of a hotfix only this work around

Whenever I put Private, Lublic, or Friends Only in my session, it'll force my game to the PS+ sale screen, then I'll go back to the game and it'll force me into singleplayer again

Also, to verify, you did this ON PS4, right?

No, did it on xbox, didn't change anything except switched to multiplayer in game. Can't you turn off coop on the console but leave it connected online?

Dude, ngl, I specified it was on PS4. It happens because you can't have multiplayer on PS4 without PS+

At least on some games, DL2 included
