Dropped Weapon Glitch

Hi all. Im on Xbox Series X and my Dad is on an Xbox Series S. Lat night, he dropped me some weapons (about 12; one at a time), and I picked them up (my character did the animation and the weapon picture popped up on the right side of my screen), but only 9 of them are in my inventory. Is this a known issue, or does anyone have a solution on how to fix it?
